First of all, when my mother decided we should all get on the family plan, I was reluctant. My view of bundled services is that it is always a way to rip you off as a consumer (with any company) but i went ahead with it, because my mom had been with them for a few years and i had never heard her complain about their service. We picked out our phones, and went about normal day to day life. About 2 months into this contract, my phone starts to break at the joint. It also starts to freeze up and turn itself off at random moments. Among other strange things. So, I look at the info on my supposedly NEW phone, and by my calculations, the lifetime call counter tells me that that phone had a history of 3 MONTHS of continuous talk time already on it!! In other words, I would have had to talk for 3 months NON STOP on that phone for that counter to be right. THEY SOLD ME A USED PHONE!! And the process to get it changed was a nightmare. It wasn’t just my phone either. Both of my son’s phones were also defective. AND YOU CAN”T UPGRADE FOR 2 YEARS! Without the upgrade coupon, you can’t get a phone cheaper than 200-250. Ridiculous. And I thought I hated SPRINT service,…….I have plenty more complaints just like this with Verizon…..bill problems, overcharged, phone return issues, credit issues…etc.

I will be suing them for breach of contract, I signed up for a 5Gb data usage for the internet plan, but on my last bill I only consumed 5007 Mb of the 5120 Mb because I usually monitor my data usage so that it won’t go over.

But what they did is they reduced my data allowance to 4460 Mb instead of 5120 and billed me for the 607 Mb which is about 150 dollars more

The reduction of my data usage is not in my contract agreement with Verizon it’s not even mention on any documents if i knew that I could have been warn that I should nit exceed beyond 4460 Mb.

This is the way they ripped off people I have printed all the documents showing the overcharging

Verizon should be held liable for breach of contract i did not sign up for 4460 of data usage i signed up for 5120 Mb and have been using that data allowance for 14 months now

I wanted to find a good lawyer and file a law suit against these Monster they are ripping off their own customer

I hate Verizon because they tricked me into ordering a land line for internet services. They kept me on the phone with their rep for over 2 hours confusing me with their ridiculous and misleading services. I was told that I could return the equipment and cancel the services within 30 days. The sneaky part on Verizon was that I could but when I tried canceling the stupid land line I NEVER WANTED (which I made clear to the rep I was on the phone with for over 2 HOURS originally) they said I was under contract and would be charged some bs fee for term! WTF???!!! I told them I NEVER wanted the land line and was tricked into ordering it JUST to get internet service AND I didn’t even have a land line phone to plug into it and use so why the heck would i ever order a service I could not use. They told me that the internet service could be canceled without fees but not the phone line!!!!! HOW SCANDALOUS CAN YOU GET!!!!!!!
NOW I AM RECEIVING BILLS FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR $83.23 (i know its not much, but THATS NOT THE POINT!). THAT IS JUST STRAIGHT SCANDALOUSNESS AND WRONG!!!!! THAT COMPANY MAKES MILLIONS what the hell are they bothering me with this $100 bill that is obviously something I NEVER USED, ORDERED OR WANTED!!!!!
THEY ARE THIEVES and just plain stupid if they think I will ever pay for this!!! Not to smart on their part if you ask me because I will never ever use this company and their services after this dishonest crap they are trying to pull!!!!! All for a lousy $80.00 to nonetheless, how petty and wrong!
